The Loft is a private space for unique and exclusive events at our McLaren Vale winery.
For groups of 2 – 16 people, “The Loft” is the perfect venue for corporate meetings, private tastings.
Upon arrival to the cellar door guests will be escorted to ‘the loft’. They will be treated to a seated and private tasting experience of eight themed wines including a barrel sample of one of our premium reds.
This experience is suitable for 7 – 15 people and bookings are essential. $15 pp

“Canapé and Wine Flight”
This amazing adventure in food and wine allows you the opportunity to taste 5 wines perfectly matched with creations from our acclaimed Head Chef, Fabian Lehmann. Experience first hand how wine and food paired together can be greater than the sum of their parts. Understand the pleasure of complimentary and contrasting flavours and textures like never before. 2-15 people. $50 pp
“Vintage Master Classes”
The vertical tastings features 5 different vintages of our Lime Cave Cabernet Sauvignon or Ellen Street Shiraz showcasing vintage variations and the evolution of wine during the aging process.
Hosted by our Cellar Door professionals these sessions are $35 per person. A selection of cheeses are also provided for this event. 10-15 people. $35 pp
Commencing in the cellar door hear the Maxwell story with a taste of Envious Sparkling to carry on tour. Guests are escorted through the winery and given an overview of the wine making process including harvesting, oak and fermentation. Taste icon wines not yet released directly from the barrel. Visit our century-old limestone cave for story of mushroom growing and a taste. Return to Cellar Door for a hosted Mead Flight. 2-8 people. $95
“VIP Tour and Dining Experience”
Upon completion of your VIP tour you will be escorted to the restaurant where you will enjoy an exclusive tasting menu prepared by Head Chef Fabian Lehmann with accompanying wines matched by owner and winemaker Mark Maxwell. 2-8 people $195
