Our Minotaur Reserve Shiraz conveys the power and intensity of its namesake, the fearsome might of the half-man / half-bull Minotaur of Greek Mythology. Aged for 36 months prior to release, the rich complexity and bold structure of this wine makes it the perfect additrion to your cellar or wine fridge.

Visitors to Maxwell's Estate will stumble across our conifer maze lying at the feet of the Maxwell Winery. We welcome guests to discover the hidden corners and intricacies of the maze and see if the Minotaur does indeed lie within.

"Rich and ripe nose of blueberry preserve, dark chocolate and vanilla aromatics. Palate is equally rich and enveloping with dark fruit compote filling the senses whilst chocolate and vanillin characters evolve as it flows long and coating to the finish. A blockbuster wine that still carries enough framework to ensure focus to the end."
